# Helping & Donating to Pumpkin
Thank you for your interest in supporting Pumpkin! Whether you are a developer, a server administrator, or a Minecraft enthusiast, there are many ways you can help out.
---
## 1. Reporting Issues & Feature Suggestions
If you encounter bugs, crashes, or unexpected behavior while using Pumpkin, opening a GitHub issue helps us track and resolve problems quickly.
- **Check existing issues**: Search [Pumpkin GitHub Issues](https://github.com/Pumpkin-MC/Pumpkin/issues) before opening a new ticket to avoid duplicates.
- **Provide reproduction steps**: Include clear steps, server logs, expected vs. actual behavior, and system details.
- **Use issue templates**: Select the appropriate issue template (Bug Report or Feature Request) on GitHub.
---
## 2. Code & Documentation Pull Requests
We welcome code contributions, documentation updates, and bug fixes!
For code contributions, please read our dedicated [Contributing Guide](/developer/contributing) for full instructions on setting up your environment, decompiling Minecraft logic, and submitting Pull Requests.
> [!IMPORTANT] Code Guidelines
> When contributing code to Pumpkin, please adhere to our project guidelines:
> - **Follow Rust Formatting & Linting**: Run `cargo fmt` and `cargo clippy` before submitting your PR.
> - **Respect Architectural Rules**: Follow existing modular structure and async practices.
> - **Clean Commits & PRs**: Keep Pull Requests focused on a single topic with clear commit messages.
> - **Discuss Large Changes**: Before working on major features or architectural rewrites, open a GitHub Discussion/Issue or talk with maintainers in [our Discord server](https://discord.gg/RNm224ZsDq).
---
## 3. Financial Support & Donating
Maintaining and advancing high-performance Minecraft server software requires dedicated effort and resources. If you would like to financially back the development of Pumpkin:
- **Donations**: Check out our funding options on our official donation page [pumpkinmc.org/donate](https://pumpkinmc.org/donate).
